El gobierno de Alejandro Armenta lanzó la licitación para la instalación de escaleras eléctricas y elevadores en el puente ubicado sobre la vía Atlixcáyotl, a la altura del CCU de la BUAP.

De acuerdo con el documento, los trabajos de la obra tendrán una duración de 100 días a partir del 10 de marzo, con el objetivo de que sea entregada el próximo 5 de septiembre.
Además, se destinarán al menos 7.5 millones de pesos a la construcción del puente peatonal con escalera eléctrica en Vía Atlixcáyotl, el cual estará en la avenida Cúmulo de Virgo, dentro de la Reserva Territorial Atlixcáyotl.
En días pasados, el mandatario estatal explicó que este será un puente eléctrico que se desplazará con el objetivo de mejorar la movilidad de los estudiantes del CCU.
Asimismo, señaló que el proyecto también incluirá un paso peatonal, ya que esta zona tiene gran relevancia educativa y se busca facilitar las actividades de los jóvenes.
Esto surge ante el retiro de los semáforos y los pasos peatonales en septiembre de 2024 por parte de la Secretaría de Infraestructura para agilizar el tráfico; no obstante, dicha medida provocó inconformidades.
