La Fiscalía de Chihuahua investiga a una empresa que ofrecía el servicio de cremación en Ciudad Juárez, pero que apiló cientos de cuerpos en un predio.
Un total de 383 cuerpos fueron hallados en un inmueble de Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
El fiscal del estado, César Jáuregui, informó que el hallazgo derivó de un reporte a la Policía Municipal la tarde del pasado 26 de junio.
Vecinos de la colonia Granjas Polo Gamboa reportaron actividad sospechosa dentro de un predio.
Al llegar policías se halló una carroza fúnebre con dos cuerpos en su interior, así como múltiples cadáveres apilados alrededor.

Tras el hallazgo de los cuerpos, autoridades de Ciudad Juárez dieron aviso a la Fiscalía del estado para la investigación pertinente.
Se trata de un crematorio, que debo precisar, tiene los permisos vigentes. Esta empresa le hacía el trabajo de cremación de cuerpos a aproximadamente seis funerarias”, detalló el fiscal Jáuregui Moreno en entrevista para Canal 44.
El fiscal indicó que en total se encontraron 383 cuerpos apilados que según una primera investigación llevan ahí desde 2020, lo que se traduce en una “negligencia criminal”, según dijo.
Esta empresa simple y sencillamente no realizó la tarea desde hace mucho tiempo. Simplemente recogía los cuerpos, seguramente hacía la cobranza por el servicio que estaba prestando y finalmente no lo hacía. Acumularon los cuerpos en las instalaciones del lugar”, expuso.
El fiscal mencionó que pronto se dará a conocer el nombre de la funeraria para que quienes hayan contratado el servicio de cremación investiguen si en verdad recibieron los restos de sus familiares.
Muchos (cuerpos) van a poder ser identificados. Hay cuerpos que por el tiempo ya están prácticamente fosilizados, pero la Fiscalía tiene documentación, datos de las cremaciones”, refirió.
La empresa en cuestión será investigada por fraude y delitos relacionados con el manejo de salubridad, inhumación clandestina y falta de trato y dignidad a cuerpos.
El funcionario confirmó también la detención de varias personas.
Por su parte, la gobernadora de Chihuahua, Maru Campos, descartó la participación alguna del crimen organizado en el caso.
Insistió en que la compañía sí contaba con los permisos necesarios para operar como crematorio, pero que el problema fue que no completaron la labor.
Fueron personas completamente irresponsables, sin escrúpulos, que le dieron mal uso a estas licencias, a estos permisos”, enfatizó.
