El Chocolate del Bienestar, comenzará a distribuirse en los estados de México, Tlaxcala, Michoacán, Morelos, Ciudad de México y Puebla.
Puebla es uno de los primeros seis estados del país en que comenzará a distribuirse el Chocolate del Bienestar en sus diferentes presentaciones a través de las Tiendas del Bienestar, informó María Luisa Albores, titular de Alimentación para el Bienestar.
Durante la conferencia de prensa matutina de la presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum, la titular del programa dio a conocer las presentaciones y precios del Chocolate del Bienestar, e informó que este producto está siendo maquilado por el momento y comenzará a distribuirse en los estados de México, Tlaxcala, Michoacán, Morelos, Ciudad de México y Puebla.
La barra de 20 gramos del Chocolate del Bienestar contiene un 40% de pasta de cacao, un 10% de manteca de cacao y 35% de caña de azúcar natural.
No contiene edulcorantes ni saborizantes artificiales y se venderá en 14 pesos cada pieza.
También se distribuirá en presentación de chocolate en polvo, que contiene 30% de cocoa y contiene 8.8% de vitaminas y minerales. La bolsa de este producto costará 38 pesos en las tiendas del Bienestar.
Por último, también se venderá el chocolate de mesa que contiene 35% de cacao y su precio será de 96 pesos por caja.
La titular de Alimentación para el Bienestar informó que para la elaboración del producto se utiliza cacao 100% mexicano procedente de los estados de Chiapas y Tabasco.
A la fecha el programa ha adquirido 160 toneladas a mil 803 productores, la mayoría del programa Sembrando Vida.
