La presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo informó que mañana viernes un grupo de alto nivel del Gobierno de México dialogará con sus pares de EU sobre un acuerdo global en temas como seguridad, migración, comercio y el impacto del arancel impuesto al cobre, lo que generará “las certidumbres necesarias”.
La jefa del Ejecutivo federal indicó que en el apartado de seguridad se establece el respeto a la soberanía y la delimitación del territorio de México y Estados Unidos.
En Palacio Nacional, la Mandataria federal detalló que hoy jueves ya viaja a Washington, la delegación mexicana que encabeza Marcelo Ebrard, secretario de Economía (SE) acompañado del canciller Juan Ramón de la Fuente.
“Mañana es la reunión. Se retomó la propuesta que le hicimos al presidente Trump durante la reunión del G7. ¿Cuál fue la propuesta? En vez de estar tocando los temas por separado, vamos a tocarlos juntos y llegar a un acuerdo integral, a un acuerdo comprensivo. Estamos hablando de seguridad, que ya prácticamente está terminado el borrador de los acuerdos de seguridad, respetando nuestra soberanía, respetando los límites territoriales de cada quien, cuáles son los esquemas de coordinación y de cooperación”.
“Entonces, la reunión es el viernes y empieza un proceso que puede llevar algún tiempo, pero que nos ayuda a ir generando las certidumbres necesarias en todos los temas“.
En Palacio Nacional, la presidentaClaudia Sheinbaum señaló que también se establece la frontera segura, migración y comercio.
Sobre el tema de la imposición de aranceles al cobre, la Mandataria federal indicó que fue una decisión a todos los países, pues señaló que ”.a veces parece que es algo contra México”.
“Es una decisión del Gobierno de Estados Unidos de ponerle arancel a todo el cobre de todo el mundo. De todas maneras, nosotros en esta mesa vamos a trabajar, incluido el tema del cobre y los otros temas que tenemos pendientes y en general esa es la relación que tenemos con el Gobierno de Estados Unidos. Entonces, el viernes está esta mesa de trabajo”.
