Las intensas lluvias registradas en las últimas horas en la región del Popocatépetl provocaron una serie de derrumbes en caminos comunitarios de San Antonio Alpanocan, junta auxiliar de Tochimilco con alta población indígena, donde el reblandecimiento del terreno generó bloqueos en varios parajes estratégicos.
Ante la emergencia, el presidente municipal David González ordenó el despliegue inmediato de maquinaria pesada para remover escombros y rehabilitar las vías afectadas, garantizando así la seguridad y movilidad de las familias de la zona.

San Antonio Alpanocan, enclavada en las faldas del volcán, ha sido históricamente una comunidad expuesta a las variaciones climáticas extremas, por lo que el gobierno local reiteró su compromiso de atención prioritaria en zonas rurales e indígenas, especialmente durante la temporada de lluvias.
