Los cuerpos de 20 hombres fueron abandonados al norte de Culiacán, Sinaloa, la noche del domingo 29 de junio.
Un total de 20 cuerpos fueron abandonados en un puente vehicular ubicado sobre la carretera Internacional México 15, justo al norte de Culiacán, en Sinaloa.
Medios locales apuntaron que sobre el puente fueron colgados cuatro cuerpos decapitados, además de una bolsa que contenía cinco cabezas humanas.
También se indicó que debajo de dicho puente, fueron encontrados otros 16 cadáveres en una camioneta tipo van en color blanco, de los cuales quince estaban completos y uno más estaba decapitado.
Se indicó que todos los cuerpos, todos de hombres, tenían heridas por arma de fuego.
El hallazgo se reportado por la Fiscalía de Sinaloa aproximadamente a las 23:30 h del domingo 29 de junio, lo que obligó a una fuerte movilización por parte de agentes de seguridad de los tres niveles de gobierno.
Los cuerpos fueron trasladados al Servicio Médico Forense (Semefo), en espera de ser identificados y reclamados por algún familiar o conocido
Hasta el momento, ninguna autoridad ha informado de personas detenidas por este hecho en Culiacán.
Sinaloa vive una espiral de violencia desde septiembre de 2024, derivado de las pugnas entre los grupos criminales Los Mayos y Los Chapitos, todo a raíz de la detención en un aeropuerto de Nuevo México, en Estados Unidos, del narcotraficante Ismael Mayo Zambada, ocurrida en julio pasado.
