El aseguramiento se llevó a cabo tras la coordinación del Gabinete de Seguridad para combatir el tráfico de combustible en el país.
El secretario de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC), Omar García Harfuch, informó sobre el aseguramiento de 10 millones de litros de diésel en en el puerto de Tampico, Tamaulipas.
A través de redes sociales, el titular de la SSPC indicó que elementos de la Secretaría de Marina, de la Fiscalía General de la República y de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana realizaron el decomiso.
Destacó que fueron asegurados 192 contenedores, un buque, 29 tractocamiones, armamento y vehículos, tres camionetas tipo pick-up, equipos de cómputo y otros materiales.
García Harfuch atribuye la incautación al resultado de la coordinación del Gabinete de Seguridad y trabajos de inteligencia e investigación para combatir el tráfico de combustible en el país.
El operativo se ejecutó tras realizar labores de inteligencia e investigación con el objetivo de desarticular redes de tráfico ilegal de hidrocarburo.
Por medio de un comunicado conjunto detallaron que con la información recabada se identificó un buque que arribó al puerto de Tampico el pasado 19 de marzo, presuntamente con carga de aditivos para aceites lubricantes, el cual fue interceptado.
Cabe destacar que se realizaron cateos en predios ubicados en Camino Antiguo a Medrano y en el Libramiento en el Ejido Ricardo Flores Magón, ambos en la ciudad de Altamira, Tamaulipas.
En el predio ubicado en el Libramiento se aseguraron 18 cartuchos de arma corta y documentación diversa.
