El morenista detalló que en el PVEM había un sector que querían que la reforma aplicara en 2027 y otros en el 2030.
Gerardo Fernández Noroña, presidente del Senado de la República, afirmó que la reforma contra el nepotismo y la no reelección se mandó hasta el 2030 debido a que el Partido Verde Ecologista (PVEM) tiene interés en la gubernatura de San Luis Potosí.
“El Verde mandó al 2030 la reforma porque tiene interés en la gubernatura de San Luis Potosí”, explicó por medio de un video el presidente del Senado.
En un fragmento del video de Político Mx, compartido por la periodista Azucena Uresti, el morenista destacó que la senadora Ruth Miriam González Silva, esposa del actual gobernador de San Luis Potosí, José Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, esta perfilada para competir por el puesto.
El morenista también detalló que el PVEM estaba dividido, pues había un sector que querían que la reforma aplicara a partir de 2027 mientras que otros a partir del 2030, por lo que había posibilidad de que no votaran a favor.
Explicó que había posibilidad de que el Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) votará con ellos, pero que, «mi opinión era que era un error. Primero porque los del PAN no tienen palabra e igual y te dejaban embarcado, y la tentación de que perdiéramos una reforma constitucional era muy grande», subrayó.
Avalan reforma contra el nepotismo y la no reelección.
Este martes 25 de febrero el Senado aprobó, en lo general y en lo particular, la reforma constitucional que prohíbe el nepotismo y la reelección consecutiva en los cargos públicos, enviada por la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, para que ningún familiar directo pueda sustituir a otro en un cargo de elección popular.
La reforma fue aprobada por unanimidad de 127 votos, sin embargo, en lo particular -con la fecha de entrada en vigor hasta el 2030-, fue rechazada por 26 senadores de oposición y aprobada por 97 de Morena y sus aliados.
Es importante destacar que la iniciativa original establecía que una vez aprobada, se haría efectiva dentro de dos años, pero fue aplazada hasta el 2030, lo que dará la posibilidad de que morenistas como Félix Salgado y Saúl Monreal, o Ruth González del Verde podrían contender por una gubernatura en las elecciones de 2027.
