Sujetos robaron una ambulancia de la Cruz Roja en Culiacán, Sinaloa, en el momento en que paramédicos atendían una emergencia.
Medios locales detallaron que los socorristas de la Cruz Roja atendían una emergencia en una vivienda ubicada en el ejido El 30, pero al salir ya no encontraron la unidad en las que se habían trasladado.
Tras reportar dicho robo, los paramédicos fueron escoltados por agentes de seguridad pública y fuerzas federales hacia su base.
La ambulancia, registrada con el número SIN232, fue recuperada en una zona cercana gracias al sistema GPS, sin que el incidente pasara a mayores.
La entidad vive una ola de violencia desde inicios de septiembre de 2024 ocasionada por pugnas entre las facciones criminales de Los Mayos y Los Chapitos, derivado de la detención en un aeropuerto de Nuevo México, en Estados Unidos, del narcotraficante Ismael Mayo Zambada, ocurrida el 25 de julio del año pasado.
Desde que inició dicha confrontación en Sinaloa, han ocurrido varios incidentes contra la Cruz Roja, entra las que se encuentran varias agresiones y asesinatos pacientes en ambulancias.
