La Presidenta destacó que la nueva fiscal tiene especialidad en derecho penal, por lo que conoce el tema.
Tras la designación de Bertha Alcalde como nueva fiscal de la Ciudad de México, la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo aseguró que es una mujer honesta y que «va hacer un buen trabajo».
«Es una mujer honesta. Ella además tiene especialidad en derecho penal, conoce el tema (…) Entonces, va hacer un buen trabajo Bertha», dijo en conferencia de prensa matutina.
En Palacio Nacional, la Mandataria federal destacó que la Ciudad de México es la única entidad en donde la o el fiscal es elegido por una comisión y no por el gobernante en turno.
«En la Ciudad de México, a diferencia, y creo que es la única entidad de la República en donde el o la fiscal los nombra una comisión, no participa la jefa de gobierno en la decisión de quién es la fiscal.
«Es una comisión que elije el Congreso esta comisión abre una convocatoria, se presentan candidatas, candidatos fiscales se hace una valoración de su curriculum. Se les entrevista y ellos toman la decisión de quién es el fiscal es decir, es una decisión independiente de la jefatura de gobierno«, dijo.
