Esos dos días los empleados municipales impidieron el paso de miles de vehículos en principales vías de Ecatepec.
Ecatepec, Méx.— Las 41 horas que duraron los bloqueos en las principales vialidades de Ecatepec, el miércoles y jueves, por trabajadores del organismo local de agua que demandaban el pago de prestaciones laborales de fin de año, ocasionó pérdidas económicas por más de 650 millones de pesos, dio a conocer la Unión Industrial del Estado de México (Unidem).
Francisco Cuevas Dobarganes, director de la agrupación empresarial, explicó que por el cierre de las avenidas ocurrido desde la madrugada del miércoles, el cual se prolongó hasta después de las 23:00 horas del jueves, provocó ausentismo de casi 30% de los empleados en las plantas localizadas en Ecatepec.
“Donde estuvieron los problemas más graves fue en las zonas industriales ubicadas en las inmediaciones de los poblados de Santa Clara Coatitla, Santa María Tulpetlac y Cerro Gordo, se complicó seriamente la movilidad para los proveedores, clientes y unidades de reparto de cientos de millones de pesos, solamente en el sector industrial”, comentó.
Esos dos días los empleados municipales impidieron el paso de miles de vehículos en la Vía Morelos, Avenida Central, Vía José López Portillo, Texcoco-Lechería, avenida Adolfo López Mateos, principalmente, para exigir el pago de su primera quincena de diciembre, aguinaldo y prima vacacional.
La noche del jueves tuvo que intervenir el gobierno del Estado de México para solucionar el conflicto con los inconformes, a los que les dijo que obligarían a las autoridades municipales a cumplir con sus obligaciones laborales entre el 23 y 24 de diciembre.
