Mario Delgado, secretario de Educación Pública (SEP), informó que a partir del próximo 20 de enero se entregarán las tarjetas de la beca “Rita Cetina” a las familias que registraron a más de 4 millones de estudiantes de secundaria.
En conferencia de prensa de la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo y al presentar los avances de ese programa de becas, el titular de la SEP detalló que a la fecha se ha realizado 35 mil 155 asambleas informativas con 4 millones 035 mil asistentes entre madres, padres y tutores.
Destacó que se ha alcanzado el registro a través de internet de 4 millones 896 mil 958 niños y niñas estudiantes de secundaria que recibirán una beca de mil 900 pesos por familia, y en caso de que tengan otro hijo o hija en secundaria se les otorgarán 700 pesos más.
“Vamos a dejar de hacer asambleas porque los servidores de la educación -que les envío un saludo y agradecimiento, quienes han hecho posible este extraordinario esfuerzo- a partir del 19 y lo que resta del año se van a dedicar a organizar las tarjetas que ya nos entregó el Banco del Bienestar, para que a partir del 20 de enero podamos iniciar la estrategia de entrega en asambleas, nuevamente en las secundarias”
En Palacio Nacional, Mario Delgado informó que para quienes por alguna razón no se han registrado, se continuará con ese proceso el día que se entreguen las tarjetas a fin de “que nadie se quede sin la Beca Rita Cetina, que es ejercer el derecho a la educación”.
