Este proyecto busca mejorar la infraestructura y garantizar un sistema de drenaje eficiente para los habitantes y visitantes del municipio.
La ceremonia contó con la presencia de autoridades locales, incluyendo a la regidora Ivonne Gutiérrez Vázquez, presidenta de la Comisión de Gobernación, Justicia, Seguridad Ciudadana y Protección Civil; la regidora Mercedes Morales Coyó; el regidor David Solito Dama, presidente de la Comisión de Desarrollo Económico, Industria, Comercio, Agricultura y Ganadería; y la secretaria de Agua Potable, Drenaje y Alcantarillado, Alejandra Zamora Martínez. También estuvieron presentes Santiago Jiménez Lorenzini, representante del Hotel Posada Señorial, y Rubén Mancilla Jiménez, representante de la plaza comercial Espacio G.
La secretaria Alejandra Zamora Martínez dio las palabras de bienvenida y explicó los detalles técnicos de la obra.
“La ampliación del drenaje sanitario no solo mejorará la infraestructura de una avenida principal, sino que también reducirá riesgos de inundaciones y problemas de salud pública”, señaló.
La obra incluirá la instalación de 300 metros de tubería sanitaria de 12 pulgadas de diámetro, la construcción de ocho pozos de visita y la conexión de siete descargas sanitarias, beneficiando a 41,000 habitantes con una inversión de más de $1,800,000 pesos.
Santiago Jiménez Lorenzini, en representación de los vecinos beneficiados, agradeció a las autoridades y destacó la importancia del proyecto para el crecimiento ordenado del municipio.
“Esta obra es fundamental para que comercios y viviendas sigan desarrollándose correctamente, beneficiando tanto a residentes como a visitantes”, afirmó.
El presidente municipal de San Andrés Cholula, Edmundo Tlatehui Persino, subrayó la relevancia de la obra de drenaje y pidió comprensión a la ciudadanía durante el periodo de construcción.
“Esta intervención es necesaria para garantizar una mejor calidad de vida y evitar problemas como inundaciones, especialmente en temporada de lluvias”, dijo. La obra se llevará a cabo en un plazo de dos meses y se buscará minimizar las molestias a los ciudadanos.
