Recalcó que la iniciativa de reforma al Poder Judicial es una clara venganza del presidente López Obrador contra un poder que le puso límites.
Al reaparecer públicamente como legisladora, luego de retomar su escaño en el Senado, la excandidata presidencial, Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz, informó que trabajará de lleno con el grupo parlamentario del PAN en el tema de la reforma al Poder Judicial para presentar una propuesta alternativa.
En entrevista, hizo un llamado a la virtual presidenta electa, Claudia Sheinbaum, para que escuche a la oposición y no cometa el mismo error del presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador de ignorar a las voces disidentes.
Xóchitl Gálvez advirtió de los riesgos de que jueces, magistrados y ministros sean electos por el voto popular, y recalcó que “cuando se tiene mayoría calificada, hay que actuar con responsabilidad”.
“Lo que yo viví en la campaña es un país en manos de la delincuencia organizada. Si los que van a poner a los jueces en Sinaloa y Sonora es la delincuencia organizada, estamos en un grave problema. Entonces creo que sí es importante reflexionar sobre el tema de elegir a los jueces, magistrados y ministros por voto popular”, subrayó.
La excandidata presidencial opositora defendió a la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación (SCJN) y recalcó que la iniciativa de reforma al Poder Judicial es una clara venganza del presidente López Obrador contra un poder que le puso límites y detuvo varias de sus reformas inconstitucionales.
“Obviamente parece que esta reforma es producto del coraje del presidente, de que la Corte jugó un papel de contrapeso importante, pero la Corte no está para estar contentillo de ningún presidente, la Corte está para defender a la Constitución. Obviamente ellos pueden hoy prácticamente cambiar la Constitución como se les dé la gana, pero justo yo creo que hoy más que nunca se requiere ser responsable cuando tienes una mayoría calificada”, puntualizó.
Gálvez Ruiz informó que ya trabaja “en una propuesta donde creo que es muy importante dar certeza jurídica para lo que pueda venir. Hoy México está ante una buena oportunidad de inversiones, pero sin certeza jurídica, con un Poder Judicial totalmente sometido”.
“Tengo la esperanza que la señora Sheinbaum, la doctora Sheinbaum, pues escuche a la oposición. Uno de los graves errores del presidente actual fue haber gobernado sin escuchar a otra parte del país que piensa distinto. Ella en su mensaje inicial dijo que estaría dispuesta a escuchar”, mencionó.
