Un sujeto sufrió varias lesiones al aparentemente tropezar y caer a un canal de más de 15 metros de altura.
En una tarde que prometía ser tranquila, un hecho inesperado mantuvo en vilo a los habitantes de la zona cercana al Dren de Valsequillo en la ciudad de Tehuacán, y es que fue el lunes alrededor de las 18:40 horas, que un individuo sufrió una caída al interior del canal, ubicado entre las calles 21 y 23 poniente, mientras caminaba por la orilla.
El descenso, de más de 15 metros de altura, resultó que el sujeto de 40 años de edad terminara con lesiones ocasionadas por piedras y ramas de maleza presentes en el interior del canal.
El reporte de emergencia al 911 desencadenó una rápida respuesta por parte de las autoridades locales.
Por lo cual agentes de la policía municipal fueron los primeros en arribar al lugar ingresando al Dren para evaluar la situación, sin embargo, ante la gravedad del accidente, solicitaron asistencia adicional a la Cruz Roja.
Pronto, una unidad de emergencia de la Cruz Roja y otra de rescate se presentaron en el sitio, inmediatamente.
La complejidad del rescate demandó la participación de dos rescatistas y dos elementos de la policía municipal, quienes descendieron al canal haciendo uso de material profesional, incluyendo cuerdas, una camilla y equipo de rapel.
La atención prehospitalaria fue crucial para estabilizar al individuo, quien debido a sus heridas no podía moverse por sí mismo.
Tras una meticulosa operación de rescate, el hombre finalmente fue extraído del canal y trasladado a un centro médico para recibir atención especializada.
