Joaquín Rubio Sánchez, vocal ejecutivo del INE del Edomex comentó que serán 4 mil 949 personas privadas de la libertad de las 19 cárceles estatales los que emitan su voto.
Nezahualcóyotl.-Lilia, acusada de secuestro, fue una de las 86 mujeres en prisión preventiva que votaron esta mañana en el penal Neza Bordo para elegir por primera vez al presidente de la República.
“Me parece muy bien que nos tomen en cuenta porque somos parte de la población, a pesar de que estamos en un proceso legal, creo que es necesario que nosotros tengamos voz y voto porque estamos eligiendo a quien hace nuestras leyes”, dijo.
Esta mañana inició la votación anticipada para presidente de México en cuatro centros penitenciarios estatales: Nezahualcóyotl, Texcoco, Tenancingo y Jilotepec y en el federal del Altiplano, donde también por primera ocasión los internos que aún no han sido sentenciados sufragarán por el jefe del Ejecutivo.
La Junta Local del INE decidió establecer 81 mesas receptoras de votación, cada una contará con dos funcionarios del Instituto, un representante de partido político y un observador electoral a excepción del penal de máxima seguridad “Altiplano”, en el que sólo habrá acceso para personal del INE.
Las autoridades electorales dieron a conocer que la votación en los penales será del 6 al 13 de mayo.
Mañana continuará en Chalco, Ixtlahuaca, Lerma y Neza Norte.
Los sufragios emitidos en las cárceles del Estado de México serán resguardados en sobres sellados y el domingo 2 de junio serán abiertos en las juntas de electorales para contabilizarlos.
“Aquí únicamente lo que vamos a hacer es que las personas van a pasar a votar y las boletas serán depositadas en un sobre tipo postal, tamaño media carta que será sellado para posteriormente ser depositado en otro sobre independiente que también es sellado, y ya después el ejercicio de escrutinio y cómputo se haría hasta el día de la jornada electoral que es el 2 de junio en la sede que está en ámbito de competencia de este centro penitenciario que es la Junta Distrital Ejecutiva 29 del INE ubicada en Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl”, explicó Mario Delgado López, vocal ejecutivo de la junta distrital 25 con cabecera en Chimalhuacán.
